The creeping phlox is just starting to bloom in the corner of the other front bed.

This weekend we will be getting some other flowers to plant where the hyacinths are.

Now that the hyacinths are blooming, I can see that when I planted the bulbs last fall, I did a pretty good job of mixing the different colors up.

I had a few blue hyacinths too, but they got a bit nipped by the spring snow we had a few weeks ago, so they are already done blooming.

I am very happy with how well this flowerbed turned out.

I completely redid it last fall and added the brick wall border.

Dug out all the irises, daffodils and my blue hyacinth bulbs.  When I was all done with the bed, I replanted my irises in nice rows.   I replanted the blue hyacinth bulbs in front of the iris, along with some new different colored hyacinths that I purchased.  I also purchased some Firecracker bulbs and planted them behind the irises.   I moved the daffodils into another flower bed.

Hopefully I am going to like these flowers that my husband picked out.
