8-28front.jpg (32344 bytes) The front bed looks a bit bare after I mowed down all the dying irises.

I am beginning to think about redoing this flowerbed.  Next year I plan to add more flowers that will bloom in the fall.  I also want to add a brick wall border at the front of the bed.

Close up of the Zinnias in the front flowerbed.

Also a few weeds pretending to be flowers.

We also fixed up the hole in the middle of our flower bed from where we installed our public water line last year.   Added top soil and peat moss and planted some flower seeds.

frontbed.jpg (44858 bytes) Irises are just starting to come up.

The yellow flowers are dandelions - which I pull out and feed to my daughter's rabbit.

Another view of the irises in the front flower bed.

That is Sparky - our dog.
